With a formal background in Visual Communications, I embarked on my journey under the guidance of Chicago's foremost commercial photographers.  I mastered light manipulation and the artistry of composition, while emphasizing the critical elements of color balance and technique. Despite the long hours spent in darkrooms loading 4x5 sheet film, my passion remained steadfast: capturing genuine people, raw emotions, and authentic beauty.
While I continue to employ these foundational techniques, my focus shifted towards wedding photography.  It's where I get to freeze-frame moments and tell stories of love and legacy. The magic of a photograph that transports you back to a fleeting moment—it's what fuels my passion.
