As a Chicago Wedding Photographer there is nothing better then a wedding day filled with a classic black and white color palette, timeless architecture and an incredibly fun-loving bride and groom. Rachel and Michael’s fall wedding in downtown Chicago was a perfect blend of elegance, tradition, and all-out celebration. From the moment they chose the Chicago Cultural Center as their venue, I knew their day would be stunning and timeless. The grandeur of the Cultural Center’s architecture set the scene for a wedding filled with style and warmth.
We kicked off the day with portraits in front of the Chicago Board of Trade, a landmark known for its striking art deco facade. The ceremony took place under the stunning Tiffany dome inside the Cultural Center. Surrounded by marble details and golden accents, Rachel and Michael exchanged vows in front of their loved ones. The venue’s historic elegance and intricate detailing provided a beautiful contrast to the couple’s modern love story.
Once the ceremony ended, the real party began! Guests gathered for a lively reception that kicked off with an energetic Hora. The joy on everyone’s faces as Rachel and Michael were lifted high in their chairs set the tone for an unforgettable night. The live band kept the energy high, seamlessly blending classic hits with modern tunes that had everyone on the dance floor all night. The combination of heartfelt toasts, vibrant dancing, and a couple so in love made the night one for the books.
From the iconic portraits at the Chicago Board of Trade to the epic party at the Chicago Cultural Center, Rachel and Michael’s wedding day was a perfect reflection of their love, family, and the city that means so much to them. I’m so grateful I could be a part of capturing these memories for them in such a stunning setting.
