Molly and Eric’s September wedding at Revery at the Smith Brothers’ Warehouse was everything I love about photographing weddings in Columbus, Ohio — dramatic light, genuine emotion, and moments that unfold naturally.
From the start of the planning process, Molly had such a clear vision for the day: modern, elegant, and full of movement. I loved collaborating with her to bring that vision to life through photography. Together, we talked through light, timing, and the flow of the day so that the images would feel both intentional and effortless. The result was a collection of candid, documentary photos with a loose editorial edge. Revery’s rooftop space is one of the most unique wedding venues in Columbus, Ohio. Offering open air views of the skyline and an abundance of natural light. The golden light poured in, wrapping Molly and Eric in a cinematic glow during their vows. It was one of those moments where every frame felt alive! Full of light, movement, and emotion. Documentary storytelling wedding photography with an editorial edge in Columbus, Ohio.
Throughout the day, I focused on creating images that were candid yet refined. The laughter between toasts, the quiet moments before walking down the aisle, and the way the light fell across the dance floor during their first dance. My goal is always to capture how a day feels, not just how it looks.
Working collaboratively with Molly meant every photo reflected her personality and the atmosphere she envisioned. Natural, emotional, and elevated. Together, we created images that blend documentary storytelling and loose editorial beauty, preserving every authentic moment while giving it an artistic touch.
The Party at Revery
As night fell, kept the energy going, and Milo’s Catering served guests beneath the soft industrial glow of Revery’s interior. The mix of exposed brick, dramatic lighting, and laughter filling the space made for some of my favorite dance floor photos of the year.
A Columbus Wedding with Heart and Light
Molly and Eric’s Revery wedding in Columbus was the perfect blend of modern design and genuine emotion. It reminded me why I love photographing weddings in this city — the mix of architecture, energy, and the way light plays across every surface at sunset.
